Aigo N700 - The next iPad rival comes from China and has Android on board

By throwing a Chinese company Aigo N700 the next iPad rivals on the market. What makes this tablet: it has only a 7 inch screen and runs on Linux, including Android 2.1 to be precise with Flash support. Other notable features are the 1 GHz ARM processor and the nVidia GPU Tegra2. With these specifications, the tablet according to the manufacturer Aigo will even be able to play HD video in 1080p resolution. Still planned is a 512 Mbyte DDR2 RAM, 4-32 GB of disk space, USB, a microSD card slot and an HDMI output. With the latter is then possible to beam high-definition video on a big telly. WiFi and 3G support are also planned. Only the price is still open. According to other sources of the N700 is already sold in Asia for $ 300, which represents about 230 € in Europe.

This will hopefully not turn out too high, the other specs but sound really good. One gets the impression that there will soon be in a tablet of any size. The iPad has 9.7 inch, the WePad 11.6 inches, 10.1 inches and the N700 is therefore ultimately with dinky 7 inches. For anything under there then yes, the smart phones. Or Nintendo DS.

I am personally very pleased with the Aigo pad. Especially the flash support and the Tegra2 chip making the Android-Pad worth seeing. I'm waiting for the price.
