Office 2010 available for download!
The zealous Microsoft Nerd is the message have noticed long ago: Microsoft Office 2010 beta can be tested at once. And not only on MSDN or TechNet subscribers, but by everyone! Everything you need for this, is a Microsoft ID. This can easily create one for free.
A distinction is made under the following versions:
- Microsoft Office Home and Student 2010 Beta with Excel, PowerPoint, Office Web Apps, OneNote, Outlook and Word,
- Microsoft Office Professional 2010 Beta with Access, Excel, Office Web Apps, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher and Word, and
- Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 Beta Access, Communicator, Excel, InfoPath, the Office Web Apps, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, Word and SharePoint Workspace. (Aimed at IT Admin's and developer).
Office 2010 requires 1.5 GB of hard disk space, Windows XP SP3, 256 MB RAM and a 500 Mhz processor. The latter should be standard as good as any user.
If you want to test the new office, then simply follow the links to the versions above. For home users, extends the "Home and Business" version is more than enough.
In the run-Microsoft has drawn attention to the following (very good!) Made short film about Office 2010:

Interesting is also the planned Web version of Office . This is for everyone to be free and available for fast enough stories fully. Here again a live account from Microsoft is needed. The documents are then stored online. In principle, the whole story works so much like Google Docs.
