The feature was intelligence in the English-language edition of Google Analytics weeks ago introduced. Now it is also available here in Germany.

It is a Benachrichtungsfeature. Consequently, this thing, for example, adjust so that you will be informed at a traffic change of 50%. The whole is useful if you suddenly have a high volume of visitors. Or of course a great loss visits.

It can be set here daily, monthly or weekly alerts. A daily update I think (for my blog), overdone. But a weekly or monthly overview is quite useful and interesting. Admittedly, a precise purpose I have not yet discovered for my blog. But that is still with certainty.
