Threatens Google a Street View ban in North Rhine-Westphalia ? NRW's Media Minister (oha, something gibs?) Andreas Krautscheid has brought the problems and concerns about the anonymity of the contents or photographs from Google for language, after he paid a visit to the Group. In his opinion, should be a high value placed on the privacy of citizens and are thus made license plates and faces unrecognizable. Failure to do so, raising fears Google a Street View ban in NRW.
In my opinion this is the right decision. It can not be that every little detail of your own home in the Internet is accessible, so that it can be ogled by everyone. The same goes for faces and the like. Just as every TV station to take pictures of people approving the selfsame need (right at one's own image), so not even Google should have the right to simply make people shots into the net.
The idea of Google Street View is great. What I'm not even by the United States "heated". But you should also implement the idea and take into consideration the privacy of citizens.
