Twitter currently popularized more than any other Internet service. Last even Apple has offered a bid of 700 million. The micro-blogging service has had rebuffed the apple though.

Now I'm even in CHIP found a tool that turns Twitter into a sort of remote control unit. The whole piece of software called TweetMyPC. After downloading and installing the software you have to enter their Twitter account details. After you've registered with Twitter then again, you have the commands shutdown, restart, logoff, and the opportunity to let the PC execute the commands from a distance.
