As I have just read, EA has a free version of the strategy game BattleForge released. These were previously only Play4Free games of Battlefield Heroes, free cartoon shooter. Now also joins BattleForge into the ranks of the P4F games.

This free version of the players is advanced no blockage, but they also have access to all community functions and scenarios, the Renegade Campaign, and 32 trading cards. However, it will be possible to buy more cards with real money.

Overall, this is a fine move by EA. I assume that the game will also continue to be funded through ingame advertising. But if it is well placed, I see no problem. Super O!
