Windows 7 has set the ball rolling: The new OS from Microsoft natively supports touch screens. Simplified, this means you can use my hands your bail Windows. When I was last week at the CeBit, I could try out these features already and I must say that I liked it quite well. Previously, Microsoft has indeed caused a stir already with Surface. Here is a table, as the "plate" has a huge projection screen that is also to operate with your hands.
Now it happened: My old machine has finally given up the ghost. Too bad. Although the machine was already 5 years old, but has done his job. Although not everything was broken. The fan of my ATI All-In-Wonder 9600 XT had long been denied the service. It did not matter, because recent blockbuster hits were not anyway. I have mainly used the computer only for surfing and for the realization of my web projects.
The whole place in order that I have surfed the day before yesterday evening a little bit on the net. All of a sudden went off all USB devices, only the screen was still on, but it was frozen. And, of possible white was not the frozen. The mouse I could not move anymore, so it only looked as if it were frozen. Whatever. It helped in any case only an emergency shutdown. Since it was already 1:00 at night, I went to bed again without trying, even when the PC went on again. I'm just once assumed.
