Google locks himself out

Since I was just comfortable on google ... and suddenly I get the message: "Warning! This site could contain malware that can harm your computer. "Since I was a bit taken aback ... I knew the side and was never previously classified as malware. Curiously, I googled whites times after the "problem". Since I discovered a message in short news :

Has just been announced that a serious error generated in the Google search engine when displaying an error message of any search.
Each site is identified as malware found and therefore blocked by a Google error message first.
Only after entering the web address into the browser line the website. Even the Google pages are recognized by Google as malware.

Since Google has probably locked himself. When I just tried again for the same term, and clicked on the link worked, everything again. Since Google was fixed :)

This failure was not without consequences: billigemarken.de reported a loss of 90% of users!

From April, the service pack required!

I just like the Windows Vista team blog I read is from April to install the service pack for Windows Vista and XP no longer suppress. Previously it was possible ban from the Service Pack Blocker Tool to install the Service Pack 1 for Vista or SP3 for XP. Was made possible by this program is simple through a registry entry in Windows.

This "protection" should now be expired. Specifically, this means that from

  • 28th April 2009, the SP 1 for Vista

and from

  • 19th May 2009, the SP 3 for XP

downloaded from the Windows Update routine and will be installed. However, it is still possible to stop the installation during the update process.

Nevertheless, I recommend all users install this service pack, no matter what system they use. These updates increase the security of your PC and patching holes. So far ...

Cheers!

Web 2.0 goes mobile? Not with me!

Today's article in the popular Basic Thinking Blog has inspired me a bit about the so-acclaimed Web 2.0 writing. Specifically, in the above linked article is that Web 2.0 has not yet accepted fully by the German company. Thus, for example contributed little about netbooks, mobile phones and other mobile companions tweeted or otherwise to fill the web with data. Going into detail, so take advantage of just 3.3% of the social web. A disappointing result, because other countries like UK come to ~ 10%. ( Source )

CognoBlue 1.0 - Page bug solution

Here is a Google product ;)

The avid user acknowledges that I CognoBlue Theme by BlogsDNA use. The theme I like stupid white as far as great, but it has a small bug that causes no pages can be created.

Gmail messages offline

So far it is only possible when Gmail read through an e-mail program to mail offline. Now Google, in conjunction with its technology, Gears also a service to read the messages offline. Gears was previously only known to me from WordPress. There you can save a sogannanten "Turbo" mode offline data to the PC to WordPress to load faster.

It is now possible with Gears as I said, read his account using the mails offline. The principle is relatively simple: as long as there are messages on the local record store, until the connection is dropped. If times are not connected, you can read all the emails been down loaded without a connection. Even Answering emails is possible. These are, of course, and can be sent only when new connection.

This service is however only possible for English users. Nor is it clear how the Google gets more information from the user. For by this service the user is logged in for Google and has more "close" to the user.
